“Bus Uncle” or “Uncle Bus” on my Taipei Flight

March 4th, 2007 by kylie-siumui

It was a "LUCKY" day for me, "BUS UNCLE" TRAVEL ON MY TAIPEI FLIGHT!!!

It was the earliest TPE-HKG flight, before we board the aircraft, we aldy saw him sit in the waiting lounge.  All of us looked worry, cuz we knew that he is going to make trouble, for sure…

Finally, after he board the aircraft, we found that his seat back cannot recline, according to safety reason, we must change the seat for him, but of course, he refuse, and start to "farn din", I was working in business class, so I dunno what really happen to the EY crew at that moment.

Since business class is not full, so I help in economy class, he stop me when I pass by, "Shit, why me??" I said that in my heart.  He ORDER me to tell the guy who sit behind him to move, and said he feel so comfortable to sit here, and WILL NOT MOVE ABSOLUTELY.  (actually I dunno what happen to his seat at that moment, cuz no one tell me) His voice is so loud and rude, everyone was looking at him, and some Taiwanese recongize him, we can tell how popular he is..damn!  And I was so worry is there anyone recording and put it on YOUTUBE at that moment!

So finally ISM move all the passengers around him to business class seats, kind of isolate him.  Of course he start to farn din la…he yell at us, and said are u guys discriminate me or sth?    We asked him to move on the first hand, he refuse, and now we move other passengers, then he said we are discriminate him, he is 100% bin tai.  I just want to say "UFO" (U Fxxk Off!).

Finally we moved him to other seat, captain decide not to call security on arrival, cuz all of us know he just want to get attention from others.

At last, all crew who hv conversation with him, need to stay behind and write the CSR (cabin safety report) about this incident, POOR ME!!!

To all my dear frenz, long time no see!

Mel_052 Ummm…..b4 I start, 3 things:

First, I wanna say "I MISS U ALL!"

Second, Sorry to my dear friend, Gloria, cuz I can’t attend to her wedding.

Third, Sorry to those frenz who want to see me for longgggggg time, I know u guys understand my suitation now, I will try my best to arrange free time for all of u.

Mel_044 OKIE, can start now....

I want to update my blog long time ago, but I am too busy on catching flight, (no need to surprise, I am still 100% HK crew!) Since my honey was working in China, my life is totally changed to be an outport crew, (but no housing lor~~~~)  If anyone check my roster, u will see most of the flights are long haul, (of cuz la, hv more Gs to catch flight ma!)   Actually quite tired, but enjoy, like having another home in China, relax and….quiet, (but I tried once, I heard the ppl "siu pow cheung" at 0200 lor!) I thought is terrorist attack, alarm or whatever.  Bin Tai!

Recently, just went to LA, SYD, and back to my hometown, Vancouver in Sept.  Of cuz between these flight, I was in China, I found myself really like those "Free Walker" now, buy a lot of things and bring to China, and I hold "double way ID" too, one is HKID and other one is "Wui Heng jing", Sai mei?! Ha!!

I celebrate my birthday with my honey in Shanghai this year, although only stayed over for one night , still hv a good time, we ate "big gate crab" only for @RMB20, yummy!  Then we went to the fake market, it was huge, many fake brand name products, wa…duck jor!  Real duo bao.  I saw many gwai low, gwai por were bargaining in Putonghua lor, ging!

My honey just came back to HK for a week (Golden Week for FREE WALKER, YEAH!!!),  but he left this morning lu…ummm…we can’t see each other until Nov.  Aiiii…..I waste my annual leave in Oct la, I dunno that’s the time for Canton Fair, he must be busy like hell, so better not to go there, fai si farn hui.  So I will go back to Vancouver to visit my parents.  Then beginning of Nov, will go to China for few days, then back to work lu….aiya…lazy ar..don’t want to work.  Hope no standby la.

I am sick

July 14th, 2005 by kylie-siumui

Really sick….still can catch cold in summer, why?…All the air-con in public area are freezing, why?…

Yesterday was a very sunny day, so I went for suntan in Repulse Bay, it was GREAT!  Just 1 1/2 hours aldy made me get burn, cuz I use 0 degree suntan oil.  I like to be dark, look healthier.  Anyway, most ppl think I came from south east asia, no need to speak cantonese to passengers, so good!!  Minimize trouble.  I don’t know why most HK gals like white, and wear hats, umberlla, newpaper, magazine to cover their face, or don’t bother to go out…why can’t just enjoy the sun?  I think they should move to Anchorage, cuz most of the time has no sun.  Sorry, don’t want to be inch, just tell the truth.

Then I went for dinner & drink with 2 frenz in Soho after suntan, I catch cold in the bar, shit!  The air-con is damn cold, then go home hv fever lor, so hv to report sick for tmr flight, why me????????  My original plan is to go for another suntan on Saturday, now hv to cancel, why???????

Next week I get 5 days standby.  In these 5 days, my heart beat increase, hormone unbalanced, just hold the phone like crazy.  My honey always said I look like the "fay fu" team during standby.  Just leave home within 5 mins after get called, sometimes need to reach company in 30 mins.  That’s us, flight attendant, we all hv wings.

Still need to see doctor tmr, poor me, and hv to take care myself, cuz nobody cook, nobody boil water, nobody clean house, nobody wake me up for medicine….so sad.

Shit flight ~ LA

July 12th, 2005 by kylie-siumui

LA, yau hai LA, sucks!  This time I stayed next to Disneyland.  My room, half good, half bad, good is facing the middle of Disneyland, I can see the splash mountain, bad is opposite to the lift, always hear the ding ding sound, FARN!

Day of arrival, I took taxi to supermarket with other crew, around 10 bugs.  We bought some fruit & sausage (crew room hv microwave, GREAT!), then we ordered the chinese cuisine delivery to my room, and we had a memorable dinner, how?  cuz my room can see the firework from Disneyland.  I saw mickey mouse head shape firework….that moment feels like CNY, YEAH!

I slept around 12am LA time…..sleep, awake, sleep, awake, really can’t hv a good sleep.  Around 5am, suddenly, the fire alarm was on….geeez….I never tried that b4, just see what happen outside the corridor, ppl start coming out from their room, tried to call the reception to see what’s happen, but nobody answer, so I just grap my wallet, mobile phone, and my dc (my honey asked me to take pics…), then go downstair by stair (common sense!) from 11/F.  Poor me!

When we reach the lobby, only one bell captain & one receptionist there, really ng dim, how can be only 2 staff there during fire alarm.  So we saw our inflight manager there, and she asked is it real fire or false alarm, and the staff said 99% is false, so I just add one sentence, "how about the 1%?" He just said "I dunno!"  CHI SIN, that’s really irresponsible.  Finally, there’s a security came and said they found a lighted cigarette on the top floor corridor, that’s why the fire alarm was on.  All of us just said must go up and hit that guy who throw the cigarette, that’s why I always said smoking is bad, only cause harm to ppl.

Fire alarm day, me & 2 crew joined the universal studio day tour, pick up at 8:50am, only 2 hours left, so we decided having breakfast after shower.  Extremely tired, only slept for 4 hours in 2 days….really want to die.

We only paid USD$84 for 1 day tour, not bad.  We stayed in universal studio for 8 hours, quite long, but lot of new things, MUST PLAY MUMMY ROLLER COASTER, damn, it goes backwards, scare me….and I bought the pics which taken from them, siu sai….my mouth opened and eyes closed, and most ppl’s eye, ear, mouth, and nose mixed together.

The happiest thing was I met 2 good crew, Joanne & Lawrence (I just called him Philip Chan Junior, why, cuz he really looks like him lor, btw, Mr Chan is our big boss of cx, sometimes can see him on newspaper…), and we still keep contact after we arrived HK, and we aldy plan to swap together to Johannesburg on Sept, really look forward for it….

1st time to see unruly pax on board

July 5th, 2005 by kylie-siumui

So mad! So mad! Soooooo MAD!  Why the unruly pax seldom get arrest?  Why????

On my flight to Melbourne, using A333, seating is 2-4-2, a Japanese gal sit at seat A, window seat, and next to her was a Korean guy, who belongs to a Korean tour group.  The incident was that guy,  he open the gal’s pant zipper and put his hand into "there" when the gal fall asleep.  Damn!

Of course the gal awake, and she cried.  She came to the galley and told one of our crew, but she said she didn’t want to call the security on arrival, just want to tell us.  I rather she didn’t tell us at all if she just want to keep quiet, cuz we can’t do anything if not calling the security.  I really don’t know what’s she thinking?  How can she just let this "chin yun" go away?

The whole set of crew knew about this, everyone felt bad and mad, we tried to convince her to call the security, but of cuz unsuccessful.  Actually we knew the result, even though we called the security, no use, cuz no witness, but at least can scare him, give him a lesson, and make him lose face in front of the tour group.  If so, everyone will be very "sum leung!"

I think the guy aware that we knew, cuz when we passed by, we just looked at him with those "pay si" eyes, haaaa….really cannot treat him as a normal pax, u know, he was too "chin" la, sai bin tai low.

Finally can see u~~

June 30th, 2005 by kylie-siumui

Yeah!!!  2 more days, only 2 more days, we can see each other, want to cry, too miss u….. ;)

I don’t know what is my reaction when I see u, give u a big hug or a big kiss….really dunno….my heart boa boa till ar.  Hee….like the first time we see each other.

U know I bought a lot of things for u, feel like "farn hang har", cuz always afraid u are bored, and not enough things for daily use.  So lucky that my suitcase no need to weight, cuz it must be over-weight, very HEAVY.

I must total enjoy these 2 days with u, cuz next time when we meet is the end of Jul.  ^_^

Really miss u~

June 25th, 2005 by kylie-siumui

Low yea:  life was not easy and time passed so slow after u left HK, I try to swap as many flight as I can to get rid of the free time, so I fly till "spray blood" now.  Well, suen la, just pretend to earn some more $$ (u know I love day off more than fly, but now, day off is meaningless when u ar not here).

I found this time was a bit different than last time when u went to China.  Although u need to go for 2 months or more on this trip, maybe I can come over easily, even though the flight is full, still want to come.  Sun Fu D, but worth.

Nowadays, I only choose weekdays to stay in hk, at least I can watch the serial at night (8-10pm TVB, 10-11pm ATV, 12-1am Tin Day Ho Ching) to make the time pass faster, not bad. Unlike weekend, so boring without u.

A song for u, I know u love it……..

Really miss u~~~~~~~

4 days Bangkok, Karachi

March 23rd, 2005 by kylie-siumui

Son_pics_003 Ho Ho Ho!!!  Finially finished my 4 days Bangkok Karachi, thanks god!  Well, not that bad, only 2 sectors were full, but from Bangkok to Karachi was like hell, all the call lights were on, exactly look like the x’mas light along the aisle.  Luckily no cocktail service, it really makes a big difference for us.

After arrived Bangkok from Karachi, slept for 3 hours (still wing wing day), then started going out with 2 crew, even I just went there during CNY, still lots to buy.  Let’s talk about what did I buy.  This time I really bought a bag of rice (white and red mix), Ha….pretend HEALTHY, not so heavy, only 2kg, ppl said I am crazy, but only HKD10, CHEAP!  Also we went to a underground wholesale market where sells silver accessories (rings, necklace….etc.), Thai style clothes and household. It’s just opposite to World Trade Centre,   I bought few rings for only HKD 80-150, but the price sell in CWB is triple, CHEAP AGAIN!  Then next stop was MBK, it’s time to buy some summer color CONVERSE.  I bought 3 pairs for HKD350 ONLY, and the purple pink color cannot find in HK.  VERY VERY CHEAP!

Let’s talk about our dining part.  In Bangkok, there are so many delicious food, no matter Thai or other cuisine.  For lunch, we went to Loft Food Court in Central Chit Lom.  When you hear food court, you may think is cheap cheap and "up dup", but I always recommend this food court to my frenz and colleagues, the price is little bit higher than others, but when you go there, you can’t believe is a food court, cuz it looks like a restaurant.  Most popular country cuisine can find in there, like Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, Malay…portion is small, but at least can try for more dishes.  Sorry, not allow to take photos there, so can’t show here.  Then we went to Zen Japanese restaurant (Siam branch) for dinner, one of the popular Japanese restaurant in Bangkok, so many Thai and HK ppl.  Price fair, place and food are very clean, no diarrhea.

Also, for my dear crew frenz, pls try the chicken curry puff in the hotel bakery.  Very Very Very DELICIOUS.

My First Xiamen Flight

March 19th, 2005 by kylie-siumui

Son_pics_004 For my 1st post, I used my favorite color "Shocking PINK" for the words, I love it.

Just want to share my 1st Xiamen flight experience to all my colleagues and frenz.  I can only use ONE word to describe this flight, "RUSH"!  Yesterday flying time to Xiamen was 50 mins, captain treats us very good (deep from my heart), cuz he kept "turning circle" in the air to wait for us to finish our service b4 landing.  Imagine, 50 mins flying time, which is approx. 20 mins to finish the service, god~~~~~worse than war, and was full load yesterday, hv to serve 267 paxs in such a short time, damn tired, no time for headsets collection and did our pre-landing check after captain said "cabin crew be seated for landing", and there were 2 mainland china elderly pax refuse to sit for landing, cuz they didn’t finish they sandwiches and they want to keep their trays on hand, really "waun yeah".

Also I was Y3 (selling duty free gal), so I didn’t touch my bar AT ALL, cuz no time, and I hv to make the announcements, Ahhhhh~~~~like hell.  Ho Choi whole sets of crews were experience (the most junior one joined 2002) and very good teamwork, pax are nice and less demanding.  {Little tips for my dear colleagues, DON’T put any drink on cart top except coffee, tea and 3 jars of water.}  Otherwise, no need for collection, cuz pax will be holding their tray for landing.

Most pax are hk tours and few mainland china tour, still ok, but of cuz always depends what kind of pax u met.  Good luck to all of u who had this flight, Oh…one more things, company treats us really "GOOD!", cuz for JCL, we hv 2 choices, chi sin.
